PokéPark KANTO has two kinds of show, and you get into them in different ways. “Pika Pika Sparks!” is an indoor stage show in the Sedge Gym, about 25 minutes long. You need a seat from the app lottery, which opens at 10:45 once you’re inside Yomiuriland, or an Ace Trainer’s Pass reserved seat. The outdoor parade in Sedge Town needs no ticket. Find a spot and watch. In October 2026 the Pikachu and Eevee Summer Carnival runs twice a day until October 27. A new parade starts on October 30, 2026, and the park says details come later in October.

Pika Pika Sparks! in the Sedge Gym
This is a stage show with Pikachu and friends and human performers, using music, lighting and effects. The Gym is an Electric-type Gym, as in the games.
How to get a seat:
- Enter Yomiuriland with your PokéPark KANTO ticket.
- From 10:45, open the official app and apply for a show. It’s a lottery, and you can apply once per show per day.
- Check My Tickets → Ticket Details for the result.
- Go to the Gym when it opens, 20 minutes before the show, and show the ticket in the app.
| Show starts | Gym opens |
|---|---|
| 12:45 | 12:25 |
| 14:00 | 13:40 |
| 16:30 | 16:10 |
| 17:45 | 17:25 |
Ace Trainer’s Pass holders have one reserved premium seat. For any other show they apply in the app like everyone else.
Sit together: if your party doesn’t group tickets in the app before applying, Trainer’s Pass and Town Pass holders may be seated apart. See the app guide.
Rules inside the Gym (official notice):
- Photos only at the times staff say. Otherwise photography is not allowed.
- Don’t stand up or change seats. Take off headbands and big hats so people behind can see.
- No eating or drinking during the show.
- Phones on silent.
- The show has loud sound, smoke, flashing lights and dark scenes.
- There’s stroller parking inside, and wheelchair spaces.
- Children under 3 can come in on a parent’s lap with the parent’s limited-access ticket.
The official site also says that between the 2nd and 3rd shows (14:00 and 16:30 in October), the gym may open without a ticket, and you can eat inside. It’s a good place to shelter from rain.
The outdoor parade
The Pikachu and Eevee Summer Carnival has two parts (official page, extended until October 27):
- Bubble Carnival (16:30 in October): Pikachu and Eevee parade and perform near the Primarina Fountain, with soap bubbles and mist.
- Night Carnival (18:30 in October): a performance with night lighting near Gym Plaza, in front of the Sedge Gym. Other Pokémon join, and they change each day. This one stays around Gym Plaza only.
No ticket is needed, and there’s no rule on reserving spots. The park asks you to:
- not block the walkways, and follow staff directions
- not put children on your shoulders
- not hold your phone above head height to film
- not leave belongings to save a spot for a long time
Sedge Town is not large, so viewing space is limited. Sedge Town guide shows where the fountain and the Gym are.
The Summer Carnival ends on October 27, 2026. A new parade begins on October 30, 2026, and the official page says times and details will be announced in October. If you visit on or after October 28, check the official event list before you plan your afternoon around it.
Fitting the shows into your day
- Forest slot vs. Gym show: your Trainer’s Pass Forest slot is fixed when you buy. The Forest takes about an hour, so if your slot is around 13:00, apply for the 16:30 or 17:45 show.
- Rides: buy timed ride tickets at the kiosk early. They can sell out.
- Evening: in October the night performance is at 18:30. Check Yomiuriland’s closing time for your date. Yomiuriland’s calendar shows evening hours on some days, and earlier closing on weekdays.
- The Pokémon Playhouse and the Pikachu and Eevee Playroom are meet-and-greets, not shows. See the Sedge Town guide.
If it rains
PokéPark KANTO is outdoors and opens in the rain. The FAQ says some shows and meet-and-greets may change in bad weather, and severe weather can suspend operations. The Gym show is indoors. For the outdoor parade, a raincoat is kinder to the people behind you than an umbrella.
Next: what tickets to buy, or combine the day with Yomiuriland.
Prices and hours change. Check the official site before you go.
