You have two realistic choices for a meal on a Puroland day: eat inside the park for character-themed food, or walk a few minutes to Cocolia Tama Center, the mall by the station, which has a full restaurant floor (6F) and a food court (B1). Because Puroland allows re-entry on every operating day, you can do both: character sweets inside and a proper lunch outside.

One rule shapes everything: you cannot bring packed lunches, fast food or alcohol into Puroland, and no alcohol is sold inside (as of October 2026).

Eating inside Sanrio Puroland

Puroland’s official food page lists five restaurants and cafes:

RestaurantStyle
Yakata Restaurant (館のレストラン)Buffet
Character Food CourtFood court: character-motif curries and ramen
Sweet ParlorLight meals and snacks
Sanrio Rainbow World RestaurantFood court: pasta, roast beef plates
Cinnamoroll Dream CafeCafe: Cinnamoroll-themed sweets and drinks

Prices: limited-time character meals on the official menu in October 2026 were mostly in the ¥1,650–¥2,250 range for mains, and around ¥900–¥950 for themed drinks and parfaits. Menus change with seasonal events, so treat these as a guide only.

Reservations: none of the restaurants take reservations. Only Yakata Restaurant uses numbered tickets on the day, so if the buffet matters to you, get a ticket early.

Allergies and dietary needs (as of October 2026):

  • Guests with dietary restrictions may bring their own food into the in-park restaurants. At Yakata Restaurant you may be asked to pay for a drink. Others in your group are asked to order from the menu.
  • The Character Food Court on 1F sells a low-allergen children’s curry.
  • Major allergen information is shown on posters at each restaurant. The park notes that cross-contact is possible because kitchens are shared.
  • Puroland has a plant-based food feature; check the official food page for what is on that day.

In-park restaurants are busiest around midday. Eating early (before 11:30) or late (after 14:00), or stepping outside to Cocolia, saves time for shows.

Cocolia Tama Center: the restaurant floor (6F)

Cocolia is right by Tama Center Station (多摩センター駅), on the way between the station and Puroland. The 6th floor is a restaurant floor, open 11:00–22:00 (some shops differ). Restaurants listed by Cocolia in October 2026 include:

RestaurantCuisine
Toh-Ri (桃里)Hotel Okura’s Chinese restaurant
KIZUNAIndian and Thai
Kamakura PastaFresh pasta
InakiTempura bowls and soba
Hatake de KitchenHome-style dishes and Japanese sweets

For first-time visitors to Japan: Ootoya (set meals) and Inaki (tempura and soba) are straightforward Japanese options. Shabu-shabu Gyuta and Bread Garden are all-you-can-eat formats that work well for groups and families.

Cocolia B1: food court and deli

The basement has a food court and food stalls (10:00–20:00). The food court in October 2026 lists:

  • Hanamaru Udon (udon)
  • Ringer Hut (Nagasaki champon noodles)
  • Ichikakuya (ramen)
  • Wendy’s First Kitchen (burgers)
  • Dream Farm Yumebatake (curry and side dishes)
  • Gelafull (crepes)
  • Leonidas (chocolate and sweets)

The same floor has delis and food shops: grilled chicken, takoyaki, Chinese side dishes and bento, Korean side dishes, bread and sweets. They are handy for a picnic in Tama Central Park, or for dinner back at the hotel if you are staying nearby.

Breakfast and early coffee

Options before Puroland opens are limited. The clearest confirmed option near the station is Starbucks on Cocolia’s 1st floor, open 7:00–22:00 (as of October 2026). The rest of Cocolia opens at 10:00 and the restaurant floor at 11:00.

If you are staying overnight, check whether your hotel includes breakfast. At LINK FOREST, the closest lodging to Tama Center, meals must be booked as part of the room plan in advance. See where to stay near Sanrio Puroland.

Late meals and Gokurakuyu

On days when Puroland closes in the evening, Cocolia’s 6th floor (until 22:00) is the most reliable dinner option. Another choice is the restaurant at Gokurakuyu Tama Center, the public bath next to Puroland. Its dining area is open until 1:00 (last order 0:30), but you need to pay bath admission to use it. People with tattoos are not admitted.

Eating with children

  • Cocolia lists a baby rest room and stroller lending, which helps if you are carrying a stroller around the mall.
  • Inside Puroland, the low-allergen kids’ curry at the Character Food Court and Puroland’s kids’ food feature are the starting points.
  • For more on strollers and baby facilities, see Sanrio Puroland with kids.
